DS Chavez, Ace of Clubs

Detective Sergeant Nicole Chavez got her first taste of the supernatural world a year ago when she was dragged into a conflict between the Jack-of-Crows, his Keeper, and a fetchspawn. The Acanthus Mage Ilkin helped her understand what she was getting into, not that it made the situation much easier.

However, DS Chavez is a tough woman who can handle the curves life throws at her. Since becoming exposed to the supernatural, she has grown close with Seventeen, a.k.a. Vincent Jeffries, the grandson of the London Hierarch and an Obrimos Mage. She's been working with Seventeen and the other Guardians of the Veil to understand Mage Law and help the Guardians better organize themselves to deal with the threats they need to deal with. She may not have their magical power but she's got years of experience as a police officer under her belt.

Of course, one wonders if she wouldn't be better off working with the Adamantine Arrow...
